Headhunters at Bonnaroo
In 2005, Herbie became the first-ever Artist-In-Residence at the Tennessee-based festival Bonnaroo, collaborating with other artists throughout the festival and participating in the annual Bonnaroo all-star Superjam performance. Herbie and his group the Headhunters (backed by guest star John Mayer) played the music festival as well.

Bonnaroo, dubbed “Festival of the Year” by Pollstar, is a four-day, multi-stage event hosted on a farm in Manchester, TN. Formed in 2002, the festival has featured many of music’s top performers in addition to Herbie, including Dave Matthews and Bob Dylan, and a host of musical styles, from jazz and blues to hip hop and electronica.
